Question by jesswzmn: How does a strong manufacturing base make a country stronger economically and even safer militarily?
why is this fact lost on so many so called experts?
Why are they blind to these fact? Is their agenda more loyal to something greater than country first???

A strong manufacturing base is what allowed us to quickly become a dominant force in WW2 and ultimately turn the tide.
It’s so obvious why it makes a country stronger economically that it’s not worth answering.
That being said, times have changed. Our manufacturing was a good thing in WW2, it isn’t now. Cost of labor is too high to be profitable, and it’s not worth throwing money in the pit just to keep it afloat.
