Question by Kevin: How do you reestablish a credit card grace period?
I always pay my credit cards in full every month, but I was wondering how carrying a balance works.

Say you charge $ 200 on the card and pay only $ 100 when payment is due. You charge NOTHING on the credit card the next month, and after the statement closes, you’re imposed a $ 10 finance charge.

To re-establish the grace period, do you have to pay $ 110? Or just the $ 100 principal? Or what?

the grace period is set regardless of what u charge, owe or pay. if u want to change yo due date u can call to arrange that. keep in mind the grace period is contractual and spelled out to at time u open the account and on your statement.
